Albertwoodemys testudinum
Taxonomy
Albertwoodemys testudinum was named by Gaffney et al. (2011). Its type specimen is AMNH 5088, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lower beds, west of Quarry A, which is in a Rupelian terrestrial sandstone/mudstone in the Jebel Qatrani Formation of Egypt. It is the type species of Albertwoodemys.
