Melanerpeton eisfeldi
Taxonomy
Melanerpeton eisfeldi was named by Werneburg (1988). Its type specimen is MNG 2992-68, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gottlob quarry, Friedrichroda, which is in an Asselian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Goldlauterer Formation of Germany.
