Trachemys sculpta
Taxonomy
Trachemys sculpta was named by Hay (1908). Its type specimen is USNM 16681, a partial shell (nuchal plate), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Peace River 3A, which is in a Pleistocene terrestrial siliciclastic in Florida.
