Taxonomy
Coenocorypha miratropica was named by Worthy (2003). Its type specimen is MNZ S38711, a set of limb elements (left humerus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vatuma Cave, Viti Levu, which is in a Holocene cave horizon in Fiji.
