Taxonomy
Clematocrinus ramsbottomi was named by Fearnhead and Donovan (2006). It is not extant. Its type specimen is BMNH E51660a–b, a calyx. Its type locality is Loose block on bank near Damery Bridge, which is in a Llandovery marine limestone in the Damery Beds Formation of the United Kingdom.
