Taxonomy
Callavia eucharis was named by Walcott (1913). Its type specimen is USNM 60079 and is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Nevadella.

It was recombined as Nevadella eucharis by Wallcott (1913) and Palmer and Repina (1993).
