Taxonomy
Isomicraster rossi was named by Cooke (1953). Its type specimen is USNM 103892 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 16855, Terlingua, which is in a Turonian marine horizon in the Eagle Ford Formation of Texas.
