Crateropteryx colei
Taxonomy
Crateropteryx colei was named by Seeley (1900) [Ascribed to Seeley in this MS (pp. 73ff)]. Its type specimen is humerus, a limb element, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Stonesfield Slate quarries, which is in a Bathonian marginal marine sandstone in the Taynton Limestone Formation of the United Kingdom.
