Archaeodryinus palaeophoenicius
Taxonomy
Aphelopus palaeophoenicius was named by Olmi (2000). Its type specimen is Poinar 194-21, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Lebanese amber, near Jezzine and Dar al-Baidha (Poinar collection), which is in a Barremian terrestrial amber in Lebanon. It is the type species of Archaeodryinus.
It was recombined as Archaeodryinus palaeophoenicius by Olmi et al. (2020).
