Taxonomy
Aelurodon saevus secundus was named by Matthew and Cook (1909). Its type specimen is AMNH 13831, a mandible (a lower jaw with p3-m2, and alveoli of the remaining teeth except the incisors.), and it is a 3D body fossil.
