Taxonomy
Chlorepyris mckellari was named by Colombo and Azevedo (2021). Its type specimen is SIZK K-24565, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Rovno Amber, Klesov locality (SIZC K collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Ukraine.
