Taxonomy
Calocycloma was named by Haeckel (1887) [Sepkoski's age data: T Eo-l T Eo-m-l Sepkoski's reference number: 686]. It is extant. Its type is Eucyrtidium ampulla.

It was assigned to Eucyrtidiidae by De Wever et al. (2001); and to Nassellaria by Sepkoski (2002).
