Dinohyus minimus
Taxonomy
Dinohyus minimus was named by Schlaikjer (1935). Its type specimen is MCZ 2894, a mandible (The symphysial region of the lower jaws with deciduous dentition, and the permanent teeth about to erupt), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sixty Six Mountain (Upper), which is in an Arikareean terrestrial horizon in the Harrison Formation of Wyoming.
It was recombined as Archaeotherium minimus by Lucas et al. (1998).
