Protocodium sinense
Taxonomy
Protocodium sinense was named by Chai et al. (2022). Its type specimen is NWULJG 10,034 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lijiagou section, upper Beiwan Mmb, which is in an Ediacaran shallow subtidal dolomite in the Dengying Formation of China. It is the type species of Protocodium.
