Waribole (Angustibole) winterbergensis aithyia was named by Hahn (2001). Its type specimen is Coll. M 1095 and is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Erdbachaspis aithyia by Müller and Hahn (2018); it was recombined as Waribole (Angustibole) aithyia by Wagner (2020).
