Taxonomy
Entemnotrochus kathiawarensis was named by Bose et al. (2021). Its type specimen is ISI/dwk/Pleu/19/110701/ 01 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kuranga Railway Station, which is in a Burdigalian intrashelf/intraplatform reef reef rocks/claystone in the Gaj Formation of India.
