Striatochelys impressa
Taxonomy
Aspideretes impressus was named by Yeh (1963). Its type specimen is IVPP V 1036, a carapace (negative cast of a nearly complete carapace), and it is a cast. Its type locality is Tat'ang, Maoming, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in China.
It was recombined as Trionyx impressus by Georgalis and Joyce (2017); it was recombined as Striatochelys impressa by Massonne et al. (2023).
