Taxonomy
Helicotoma griffinorum was named by Rohr (1980). It is not extant. Its type locality is USNM 18125. 40 m NE of quartz diorite dike, southeast slope near top of ridge, which is in an Ashgill carbonate conglomerate/limestone in the Kangaroo Creek Formation of California.
