Karstala silva
Taxonomy
Karstala silva was named by Czaplewski and Morgan (2001). Its type specimen is UF 108673, a tooth (left m2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Thomas Farm, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Alachua Formation of Florida. It is the type species of Karstala.
