Taxonomy
Miopetaurista dehmi was named by de Bruijn et al. (1980). It is not extant. Its type specimen is BSP 1937 II 10997, m1 inf. sin., a tooth. Its type locality is Wintershof-West, which is in a MN 3 fissure fill horizon in Germany.

H. de Bruijn et al. 1980M. dehmi is a snall Miopetaurista (estimated length p4-m3 10.4 mm). P4 slightly longer than M1-2, but narrower. Mesostylid well delimited in all lower cheek teeth. Mesostyl absent in P4 and M3, but present as a tiny ridge in M1-2. Parastyl of P4 unicuspidate. A small extra loph is present behind the protoloph in all upper cheek teeth.
