A complex lithology of 'predominantly orange-yellow conglomerates, sandstones, tan-yellow sandy mudstones, and tan-red mudstones. The lithologic character is inconsistent between each of the cross-sections, as the unit varies in depth of colour and grain size. The predominant lithology is a sandy mudstone. It is a relatively thick unit, generally over 300m.' (Chow, 1978).
