Also known as Field No. 22, Bed 22

Where: Northwest Territories, Canada (68.0° N, 135.5° W: paleocoordinates 68.5° N, 66.6° W)

• coordinate stated in text

• outcrop-level geographic resolution

When: Lower Member (Lower Shale-Siltstone Formation), Berriasian (145.0 - 139.8 Ma)

• 0.5-1 ft thick conglomerate, 471-486 ft above the base of the section; assigned to the Aucella okensis biozone; classified as "Lower Mbr" of the "lower shale-siltstone division" in Jeletzky (1958); Jeletzky (1958) assigns this unit a Berriasian age. Possibly latest Jurassic.

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: marine; lithified, fine-grained, coarse, pebbly, sandy, cherty/siliceous conglomerate

• No environmental data reported.
• Pebble-conglomerate, fine to coarse, grey; pebbles mostly black chert, well rounded, but poorly sorted; rich in gritty and sandy matrix.
