Stratigraphy

Stratigraphy comments: From jurense-Bank, an 8 cm thick marl interval. Crinoids come from matrix washings from ammonoid blocks, so it's not possible to determine whether they came from the lower or upper part of the bank. Probably came from lower part because hanging wall is poor in crinoids. Collection 31987 is combination of samples 1-4, but they are not separated in that reference. |
