• Part of the Pound Subgroup. The Rawnsley Quartzite is disconformably succeeded by a Lower Cambrian sequence of the Uratanna and Parachilna Formations. All specimens collected from the upper fossiliferous facies of the Ediacra Member, low in the Rawnsley Quartzite. The fossiliferous beds are interpretted as storm event beds (tempestites) deposited between storm-and fair-weather wave base.
