When: NP23 nannofossil zone, Dynów Member (Menilite Formation), Rupelian (33.9 - 28.1 Ma)

• Middle Oligocene, near Rupelian-Chattian boundary.

Environment/lithology: offshore; lithified, fine-grained, gray, yellow claystone

• Fish finds indicate a epipelagic to Mesopelagic environment. One genus is a classic example of a neritic paleoenviroment
• yellow-grey fine sandy claystones with calcareous admixture and marked lamination
