When: Pseudostrophalosia blakei brachiopod zone, Moonlight Sandstone Member (Blenheim Formation), Wuchiapingian (259.9 - 254.2 Ma)
• Presence of Pseudostrophalosia blakei suggests an age within the P. blakei zone, correlated with the lower part of APP4.3 palynomorph zone (Briggs, 1998). The APP4.3 zone was constrained as mid-Wuchiapingian age by U-Pb dating in Laurie et al. (2016).
