• Formerly Houtoumiao Formation. Thought to be correlative with the Zhesi Formation (=Jisu Honguer Formation), which is constrained to the Wordian because of the presence of the fusulinid Monodiexodina sutchanica zone (early Midian, or Wordian, in Primorye) (Shi et al., 2002) and smooth examples of the Wordian index conodont Jinogondolella serrata (Wang et al., 2004).
