• The Telham Pebble bed, from the lower part of the Wadhurst Clay

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: lagoonal or restricted shallow subtidal; quartzose, argillaceous conglomerate

• Pebble bed, quartz grit with clay partings, broken and abraded vertebrate fossils present, friable to heavily indurated with ferruginous cement.
