Also known as Lower Lyulyukta
Where: Russian Federation (64.1° N, 101.3° E: paleocoordinates 58.0° N, 44.9° E)
• coordinate based on nearby landmark
• outcrop-level geographic resolution
When: Khungtukun Formation, Changhsingian (254.2 - 252.2 Ma)
• Aristov (2011) referred Lyulyuikta to Korvunchana Group, Kholokit Formation of terminal Dvurogino or basal Putorana Horizon, but Bashkuev (2013) says this is a misinterpretation. According to G.N.Sadovnikov, the tuffaceous siltstones belong to the Lebedeva Horizon, but in the uppermost part may be in the Khungtukun Horizon. Insects come from nodules and rounded clasts in talus, derived apparently from the eroded upper tuff bed (upper Lebedeva or most probably lower Khungtukun Horizon).
• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution
Environment/lithology: terrestrial; lithified, nodular, tuffaceous siltstone
Size classes: macrofossils, mesofossils
Preservation: mold/impression
