When: Hughes Creek Shale Member (Foraker Limestone Formation), Noginskian (301.2 - 300.1 Ma)
• The authors placed the Hughes Creek Shale in the Permian, but more recent data indicates that it is late Carboniferous. The collection comes from the upper limestone bed of unit 1 of the Hughes Creek at this locality. The Noginskian Stage is recognized as equivalent to the Virgilian Stage.
