Where: Pakistan (32.5° N, 72.2° E: paleocoordinates 45.3° S, 55.4° E)

• outcrop-level geographic resolution

When: Wargal Formation, Capitanian (264.3 - 259.5 Ma)

• Derived either from the very lowest beds of the compact limestone composing the middle region of the Productus-limestone, or to the highest beds of the lower division of the same formation. The character of the rock makes it appear, however, more likely that the former is the case.
