• Middle part of the “Saarbrucken’schen Kohlengebirges”. Late Carboniferous: Moscovian (= Westphalian C).

Environment/lithology: terrestrial; lithified, nodular, gray siltstone

• preserved in a grey siltstone and, according to the original description, was found between layers of coal of Westphalian C (= Moscovian) age

Size class: macrofossils

Preservation: mold/impression, replaced with pyrite
