Where: Sweden (56.1° N, 12.6° E: paleocoordinates 45.5° N, 9.2° E)

When: Stanstorp Member (Höör Formation), Hettangian (201.3 - 199.3 Ma)

• Actually Liassic, according to Troedsson (1951). Presumably from the lower Stanstorp Member, which is terrestrial.

Environment/lithology: terrestrial; lithified, gray sandstone

• Paleosols, channels, and floodplain and deltaic deposits dominate the Bjuv Member. Höganäs basin, situated in the Sorgenfrei-Tornquist Zone, characterized by extensive block-faulting and several Triassic-Jurassic extensional episodes.
