• The original description of the lithology was very sketchy, and the site has been subsequently destroyed. The fossils were all evidently found in the same breccia.

• This was the first attempt to describe the entire mammal fauna of the Wajak Cave. Earlier reports listed on the human remains, and some of the species (e.g. tigers).
