Environment/lithology: shallow subtidal; lithified, gray, muddy floatstone

• Along the path near La Mandra locality, the rudist fauna is scarce and marked by a paucispecific oligotypic radiolitid assemblage.
• Scatered carbonate outcrops, the succession ist nearly 100 m thick, dipping nearly 10° east and marked by greysh, well bedded limestone with prevalent mud-supported texture, bearing few fossiliferous beds.
