• "The limestones have yielded the index graptolites of the C. murchisoni Biozone...Overlying beds [contain] limestones of the C. perneri/C.ramosus Biozone." Thus, section spans much of Sheinwoodian.

Environment/lithology: marine; shelly/skeletal, gray lime mudstone and volcaniclastic, gray, green shale

• "Section...starts...in the pyroclastics. They are overlain by a lens of grey micritic limestone with crinoid detritus, volcanic glass, and the Buceqia obolina Community...Lst overlain by 15 cm greenish-grey tuffite...followed by another bed of grey Lst and then greenish-grey tuffitic shales containing [graptolites & others]...The section continues as grey-green coarse-grained tuffites with lenses of grey bioclastic crinoidal limestones...overlain by massive grey Lst..." (Tuffites predominate in thickness.)
