The most fossiliferous horizons are the lower limestone beds 24 and 25...Higher in the section there are then massive lenticular grey tuffitic and bioclastic crinoidal limestones with levels of brown tuffites containing small limestone lenses. The massive limestones show cross-bedding at some levels, and silicification. Levels with tuffites also show graded bedding...The tuffitic Lsts and shales contain common spores of early land plants..."
