• Definition. The top of this zone is indicated by the last

•occurrence of Pilosisporites trichopapillosus and the

•occurrence of Afropollis zonatus, Leptolepidites psarosus,

•Concavissimisporites punctatus, Araucariacites

•australis, Cicatricosisporites spp. and Classopollis spp.

•Afropollis cf. operculatus and Concavissimisporites cf.

•variverrucatus are recorded from equivalent strata of

•the second study well, Khx-1.
