Environment/lithology: fluvial; lithified sandstone and lithified siltstone

• Paleoenvironment is interpreted the existence of rivers and streams with braided design, which were covered by ash product of increasing volcanic activity. Subsequently, we developed a meandering system, low sinuosity and important cyclical, with periodic interruptions ash rain.
• Cladera 2002. This unit consists of volcaniclastic deposits, mainly epiclastic (in basal and middle levels) and pyroclastic (at higher levels), whose holestratotipo is located in the eastern sector of the Plateau Baqueró, where reaches 110 meters of power.
