When: Nanarup Limestone Member (Werrilup Formation), Bartonian (41.3 - 38.0 Ma)
• The Werillup Formation is regarded as late Middle Eocene. This is supported by the presence of the Dasycladcian algae, Larvana and Neomeris (Cockbain 1969) and the foraminifer Asterocylinia (Cockbain 1967). The Nanarup Limestone Member has also been also determined as Late Eocene from the presence of the nautiloids Aturia clarkei, Teichertia prora and Cimonia felix (Cockbain 1968 b, c) as well as foraminifers reported by Quilty (1969).
