Environment/lithology: shallow subtidal; sandstone and sandy siltstone

• The sandstone sub-unit of the middle member is dominated by laminated, thinly bedded, low-angle cross-laminated and mottled bedding. Horizons consist of thin- to thick-bedded very fine- to medium-grained quartz arenite, with minor amounts of sandy siltstone and sandy limestone.
