Environment/lithology: deep subtidal ramp; lithified, shelly/skeletal grainstone

• Proximal storm deposits, which were colonized by large epifaunal bivalves during quiet phases. Accordingly, they most likely represent deposits of the middle shelf, between the mean fair weather wave base and the storm wave base.
• Bioclastic grainstone and rudstone intercalated with thin marlstones
