When: Coffeyville Formation, Kasimovian (307.0 - 303.7 Ma)

• On the basis of the revised correlations, the base of the Coffeyville formation is approximately 180 feet below the Dawson coal in the vicinity of Collinsville, and the Coffeyville contains the Seminole, together with 50 feet of underlying shale in its lower part. This places the goniatite-bearing beds 180 to 185 feet above the base of the Coffeyville formation rather than at its base.
