Environment/lithology: open shallow subtidal; lithified, bioturbated, dolomitic, gray sandstone

• Sandstones deposited in "shallow, offshore marine environment such as a tidal or sub-tidal flat" (Greggs and Bond 1971, p. 1459)
• Bioturbated and homogenized sandstone (Greggs and Bond 1971). More extensively described in Bond and Greggs (1973, CJES 10:1140-1155): "Sandstone-dolomitic, blue-gray, medium- to coarse-grained, thinly bedded, thin, irregular parting, highly bioturbated(sedimentary structures not preserved), rubbly weathering."
