Astraponotus assymmetrus n. sp.
Astraponotus assymmetrus n. sp. Ameghino 1901 placental MACN 10971, numerous isolated teeth and a maxilla fragment. Simpson (1967:205) says the type is from the Casamayoran of Colhué-Huapi Norte, but this appears to be a mistake; the species is elsewhere said to be Mustersan only.
