Where: Govi-Altay, Mongolia (44.1° N, 95.8° E: paleocoordinates 46.5° N, 98.3° E)

Environment/lithology: terrestrial; fine-grained sandstone and brown siltstone

• "Cyclite; in the base there are grey not clearly bedded fine-grained sandstones (up to 12 m), transferring to violet-brown, not clearly bedded siltstones. Insects, conchostraci, chelicerates and fish were found. Total thickness is 22 m."
