When: Bissekty Formation, Middle Turonian to Middle Turonian (93.5 - 89.3 Ma)
• The Bissekty Formation also contains five to thirteen laterally extensive intraformational conglomerates (IFCs), interpreted as a series of transgressive lags, since they are locally extensive. Specimens collected from the IFCs that occur in the middle part of the formation. Based on the stratigraphic column there are three fossiliferrous IFC horizons in the middle part; this is the middle one.
