When: Judith River Formation (Montana Group), Middle Campanian to Middle Campanian (83.5 - 70.6 Ma)
• The site, MOR locality JR-518 (“Superduck”), is within a grey mudstone stratigraphically equivalent to Unit 1 of the Oldman Formation of Alberta. The bone horizon is 17.5 m above the top of the Marker A Coal of the Taber Coal Zone of the Foremost Formation, and 7.0 m above the top of the Herronton Sandstone Zone of the Foremost Formation (Fig 4), with a recalibrated age between 79.5 +/- 0.2 Ma and 79.8 +/- 0.2 Ma [10, 11].
