•Shale and sandstone. Shales: reddish-brown (chocolate-brown), brownish-red, yellowish, compact, horizontally bedded. Sandstones: greenish-grey (tobacco) polymict, inequigranular, obliquely laminated. The shales contain many (especially right below the sandstones) remains of bivalves, conchostrachans and ostracods.
•Outcrop P10 contains the slide-rocks of overlaid succession, while P11-13 (Collection nos. 197591, 197592) includes the upper part of the Tobacco Sandstone Member and the Krutoovrazhnaya ('Steep Gullies') Member." (Nurgaliev et al. 2015)
