• Informally known as the Conglomerado osifero (Frenguelli 1920).Traditionally regarded as lower levels of Itazaingo Formation, but Pérez (2013) assigned these beds to the upper levels of the Paraná Formation instead. Cione et al 2000 found that it corresponds to the Huayquerian SALMA or Tortonian.
